The "Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg" (VBB) is an association of 42 public and private transport companies in Berlin and Brandenburg.

Since 1999, Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg (VBB) coordinates local public transport on behalf of Berlin and Brandenburg. The aim is to ensure the Berlin-Brandenburg region has high-quality local transport services by using the available means most effectively. This approach is based on the joint tariff (VBB tariff).

The tasks of the VBB include, among other things, the further development of the single joint tariff, quality assurance for regional rail passenger transport (SPNV) and the award, planning and ordering of transport services within the SPNV. Furthermore, VBB comprehensively informs passengers about the local transport services on offer.
