Line U4
Between Nollendorfplatz underground and Innsbrucker Platz
underground and urban rail stations. )
The U4 is currently the shortest underground line, running from
Nollendorfplatz to Innsbrucker Platz.
In 1903, the city of Schöneberg planned a connection whit the
Berlin underground network. Because the route was not financially
promising, however, negotiations with the Berlin elevated railway
company were unsuccessful. The city of Schöneberg consequently
decided to build its own underground line in 1908.
