The Company

As of 13th December 2009 the BVG will be operating according to the new timetables.
The major changes at a glance:

• The station U Zinnowitzer Straße (U6) will be renamed U Naturkundemuseum
  
• The 5-minute operating interval (Mondays through to Fridays on lines U1, U2, U5, U6, U7 and U8) will now end around 8:30 pm instead of at 8 pm.
  
• Lines U1, U2, U5, U6, U7, U8 and U9 will be running a 5-minute interval on Saturdays between 10 am and 8:30 pm.
  
• On Saturdays the popular line M10 will operate at a 5-minute interval until 8:30 pm instead of the current 10-minute interval.
  
• Further changes (route and timetable) on the bus lines X83, 108, 118, 163, 186,187, 190, 195, 248, 269, 277, TXL and the Night line N3.
  
• The stop Stephanstraße (M27, 123) has been cancelled.
  
• Lines X76, X83, 735 and N81 only stop at Skarbinastraße (downtown direction). The lines do not stop at Rennsteig.
