BVG infos now conveniently available per RSS feed
We offer you the possibility of subscribing to BVG information
by RRS feed, so that you can find out quite simply all the latest
traffic news, elevator problems, headlines from BVG.de and press
reports.
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an electronic news format that
permits the user to subscribe to the entire contents of a website
or to parts of it as so-called RSS feed or to integrate them in
other websites. The latest traffic news, elevator problems, BVG
press reports etc. can now be read without having to go to the BVG
homepage. This information can be shown for example in the browser
as favourites under links, in various feed readers or also in
iGoogle.
The difference to the normal web browser is that current news is
loaded automatically once a channel (feed) has been subscribed. In
contrast to e-mail, it is the receiver who shows the initiative by
dialling the feed.
Newly published contents are loaded automatically at regular
intervals stipulated by the receiver via RSS
to the subscriber's end devices, PCs or even mobile phones. In this
way, the subscriber automatically receives the latest information.
The user therefore no longer has to call up all the websites he's
interested in separately to keep up-to-date: instead, all the news
and latest reports can be centrally accessed, sorted and
archived.
How does it work?
If the site has RSS feed, the orange symbol appears in
the address line on the right. Click on this to subscribe to the
information. If no symbol appears, your browser does not support
RSS feeds. BVG.de offers this service for:
- Current traffic news
- Elevator problems
- Information from BVG.de
- Press reports
