To enable a more convenience-oriented application aimed at mobile phone users the BVG is now using the QR code.
14 hydrogen busses on trial
16.06.2008: The BVG is testing altogether 14 hydrogen-powered buses in regular service to try out new forms of drive technology.

As of now, the U55 is again train-less
30.10.2007: Today, a heavy-duty crane lifted four metro cars from the U55 tunnel connector. A good year ago, the two cars from the F84 production series as well as an equipment train were brought to the spur line for test drives.
