Short Trip fare
We take you to your destination safely and reliably - even if
it's only a short distance.
If you do not want to travel any further than three urban rail or
underground stations or no more than six bus or tram stops, then it
pays for you to purchase a Short Trip Ticket. On ExpressBus lines
the stops which the bus passes without stopping are also
included.
With the short trip fare, you can also use the ferries, the only
exception is the F10 (Wannsee-Kladow).
Where does this short trip fare apply?
- For trips within the Berlin city area (Berlin AB)
- For trips between the Berlin city area (zone B) and surrounding
area (zone C)
- For trips within the surrounding area (zone C) on urban rail lines only
Where they exist, the short trip provisions and fares of the
respective local transport companies apply to all other trips
within the surrounding area (zone C).
The Short Trip Ticket is not valid on regional rail
transport.
Please note:
You may only change between underground and urban rail trains.
Travel interruptions and return trips are not permitted.
Short Trip Tickets requiring validation must be validated on
starting travel. These tickets are not transferable after the
journey has been started.

The reduced fare is valid for children aged 6 to 14.
Accompanying persons, etc.:

ferries), prams/pushchairs, and luggage travel with the ticket
