The Extension Ticket for single trips in zones A or C.

If you buy AB or BC zone tickets for Berlin or for the cities of Brandenburg (Havel), Cottbus, Frankfurt (Oder), or Potsdam, you can extend your journey by buying an Extension Ticket for either zone C or zone A.

Extension Tickets are valid for a single trip in zones A or C. They are valid for transfers along the route to your destination. They are valid for two hours after validation but in either case for no longer than the main ticket. Return and round trips are not permitted. Within the two-hour validity of the Extension Ticket, you may interrupt your journey as often as you wish.

Please note:
Extension Tickets are only valid in conjunction with a main ticket. They must be validated - either before you start your journey, or at the latest at the last station in zone B.
