Group Day Ticket for schoolchildren
The ideal ticket for class trips of schoolchildren up to and
including year 8!
Groups of schoolchildren up to year 8 can travel together as often
as they want with the Group Day Ticket for school children, on the
printed day, or after validating the ticket on starting the
journey, up to 3.00 a.m. on the next day.
Please note:
The minimum group size for using the group day ticket is ten school
children. The school group must be accompanied by one person aged
at least 18 years. If the school group consists of less than ten
children, the price for ten children remains applicable.
Each of the prices stated below refers to one person.
For every group of ten children, an accompanying adult can also use
the low group day ticket fare. Additional accompanying adults must
purchase a ticket if they are not in possession a season
ticket.
When planning group journeys for the Greater Berlin area (zone C),
please contact the transport companies whose services you will be
using at least 48 hours before starting the journey. You are only
entitled to travel on the routes and at the times stated in the
registration confirmation sent by the transport company.
The group tickets are not transferable after starting the
journey.
Where is the Group Day Ticket for schoolchildren
available?
The Group Day Ticket for school children is available from all
ticket centres of the transport companies, but not at the ticket
machines.
Take them with you:
Children aged up to 6 years (up to three children on ferries),
prams, luggage, and one dog travel free of charge with a ticket
holder. A reduced fare ticket is required for each additional
dog.
You will need a bicycle ticket to travel with a bicycle.
