Good value weekend travel.

You can use the Happy Weekend Ticket to travel on Saturdays and Sundays from 00:00 a.m. (midnight) until 03:00 a.m. on the following day. It is valid nationwide on all Deutsche Bahn local transport trains / product class C (IRE, RE, RB, S-Bahn) and for BVG and Verkehrsbetrieb Potsdam GmbH transport services.

Who can use the tickets?

The tickets can be used by

• Single travellers,
  
• Groups of up to 5 people (irrespective of their age) or
  
• Parents and/or grandparents (max. 2 adults) with any number of their own children / grandchildren under 15 years of age

Children under 6 years of age generally travel free of charge and are not included when determining the number of ticket users.

Please note:

The ticket is issued for 2nd class travel only and is non-transferable.

To prevent misuse, before starting your journey, please enter your first name and family name in printed letters in the space provided on the ticket. For group travel the passenger with the longest journey should do this.

In this context, please remember to carry official ID with photo to be presented together with the ticket in case of ticket inspection.

Once the journey has started the size of the group may not be extended or people substituted. You may not sell this ticket or give it to somebody else free of charge.

Return, exchange and reimbursement of unused tickets and seat reservations and 1st class journeys are excluded.

Accompanying persons, etc.:

Children under 6 years of age, one pram or pushchair and luggage travel free of charge.

In Berlin and Brandenburg (VBB Group area) it is possible to travel with one dog free of charge. Outside of Berlin and Brandenburg Deutsche Bahn AG's conditions regarding animals apply.

A Deutsche Bahn AG bicycle day ticket must be purchased if you travel with a bicycle on Deutsche Bahn local transport trains. You will require a VBB bicycle tariff ticket to travel with a bicycle on BVG and Verkehrsbetrieb Potsdam GmbH transport. Both bicycle tariffs apply to S-Bahn Berlin GmbH.
