IOB - International Bus Station Operator

Commissioned by the BVG AöR, the IOB runs the Central Bus Station (Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof - ZOB) located at the Berlin Convention Center/Radio Tower. The core business area of the IOB lies in running and managing the station, which is used by private bus companies for both municipal and international services.

The IOB also markets the buildings located on the station premises.

A major project was concluded in year 2004, namely a contract with four vehicle manufacturers to plan and have the IOB build and run a new Clean Energy Partnership (CEP) service station at the Central Bus Station for vehicles that use hydrogen fuel.
