Annual timetable change in December 2009
As of 13th December 2009 the BVG will be operating according to the new timetables.

BVG uses QR codes
To enable a more convenience-oriented application aimed at mobile phone users the BVG is now using the QR code.

Chief Operating Officer leaves the company
23.06.2008: At today's meeting of the BVG Supervisory Board, Thilo Sarrazin, Supervisory Board Chairman and Berlin Senator for Finance, informed the Board that the Chief Operating Officer Thomas Necker will be resigning as of 30 June of this year.

14 hydrogen busses on trial
16.06.2008: The BVG is testing altogether 14 hydrogen-powered buses in regular service to try out new forms of drive technology.
Protection of the environment and of the world in which we live is something that concerns us all. BVG with its fleets of buses and trains has a special role to play in this. -
Second exit for metro station Konstanzer Straße
29.05.2008: Since 28 May 2008, metro passengers can use a new, second exit from metro station Konstanzer Straße. Up to now, the metro station only had one exit.
