Operating hours

Ein autonom fahrendes BVG-Shuttle der See-Meilen-Linie 328 B steht an einer Haltestelle in einem Wohnviertel.

Both routes are operated in ‘metro mode,’ i.e. the vehicles stop at each defined stop and open their doors to let passengers on and off. The routes are circular, with no start or end stop; the bus on route 328A departs around every 15 minutes, the time it takes to complete one round trip, while there are two buses on route 328B, departing around every 12 minutes. Use of the service is free of charge.

The shuttles run every day:

Route 328A:     9:30am – 1:00pm
                         1:40pm – 5:00pm
Route 328B:     9:30am – 12:45pm
                         1:15pm – 5:00pm

An attendant is on board every shuttle bus at all times to ensure smooth running of the service, assist passengers with reduced mobility, and take over control if necessary. The vehicles are wheelchair-accessible; buggies can also be accommodated. Bicycles or scooters may not be brought on board.

Stop announcements are made in the vehicles and both the route and its stops are shown on screens.

The shuttles are also equipped with an ‘acoustic vehicle alerting system’ (AVAS), which is a warning system for low-noise, especially electric, vehicles. It generates an artificial noise to draw road users’ attention to the vehicle.

The vehicles are visible in the BVG Fahrinfo app. It is not possible to book seats.
