​​The subject of the following conditions is participation in the competition within the “Meine Wege” function.​ 

1 CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION 

Prize 

As a thank you for participating in the “Meine Wege” feature, BVG has come up with a two-stage competition model.

There will be up to ten monthly prizes (hereinafter referred to as “monthly prizes”) and three (3) end-of-year prizes (hereinafter referred to as “main prize”). The monthly prizes are usually BVG merchandise and/or vouchers, but always with a value of between €9 and €99.

The main prizes, which are raffled off at the end of each year (one prize each in October, November, and December), are usually non-cash prizes, but always within a value range of €500 to €999. The respective monthly prizes and the grand prize can be viewed transparently in advance at any time at https://www.bvg.de/en/subscriptions-and-tickets/all-apps/fahrinfo-app/my-routes.  

Participation

To participate in the competition, you must actively use the “My Routes” function within the BVG “Fahrinfo” app for at least 14 days within a month (24 hours each). To do this, you must have set up a verified BVG account and linked it to the app.

If the “My Routes” function is actively used on at least 14 days within a month (24 hours each), the user automatically receives two tickets for that month. One ticket is valid for the monthly prize draw, the other for the annual prize draw. 

Monthly draw: 
Upon receiving one ticket, you will automatically be entered into the monthly draw. The ticket expires after the draw. It cannot be transferred to the next month or used at a later date. 

Annual draw: 
Tickets for the annual draw also participate automatically and expire after the draw. Tickets for the annual draw also expire if the “My Routes” function is not actively used for more than six weeks at a time. Anyone who wins a grand prize in the annual draw will no longer participate in further annual draws with their remaining tickets.

Any natural person of legal age may participate in the competition. Minors are excluded from participation and will not receive any prizes.

PLEASE NOTE: Each participant may only participate once and in their own name. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or paid out in cash. Employees, authorized representatives, and agents of BVG and its subsidiaries, as well as participating service providers, are excluded from participation. 

​​BVG reserves the right to exclude persons from participating in the competition if they violate these terms and conditions of use or use unfair means to participate. BVG may also declare such exclusion retrospectively under these conditions and reclaim any prizes or refuse to hand over the prize.​ 

​​Duration of the competition​ 

Participation in the competition is possible between September 5, 2025, and December 31, 2025.  

The competition consists of two types of prize draws: a monthly and an annual one. The annual prize draw includes three main prizes, which will be awarded in October, November, and December.  

Participation is only possible for the respective cycle.  

​​Drawing of the winner and notification of the winner​ 

The winner will be determined by means of a computer-assisted drawing. Legal recourse is excluded.​ 

​​The winner will be drawn no later than two weeks after the end of the respective draw cycle (month or year (October, November, December)) and notified by email.​ 

​​To redeem the prize, the winner must respond to their prize notification email and then provide any information necessary for the prize to be sent. If the winner does not respond to the prize notification within seven working days, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn. Cash payment of the prize value and exchange of the prize are excluded. 

 Early termination and changes 

We reserve the right to terminate the competition prematurely, in whole or in part, at any time, even without observing deadlines, or to change its course if it is not possible to guarantee the proper execution of the competition for technical (e.g., manipulation of or errors in software/hardware) or legal reasons (e.g., prohibition).
