Köpenick’s tram depot is not only home to the BVG's historic trams, but also to our valuable archive. Documents relating to the history of the BVG and some of its predecessor companies are stored here. As the BVG employed its own photographers for decades, there is a comprehensive collection of around 200,000 photographs, which are gradually being digitized. The archive also contains files, annual reports, employee and passenger magazines, posters, maps, route networks, timetables and similar documents. The BVG archive also has its own specialized library.
