Brand sound

The sound of the city is also the sound of the BVG. Our unique and innovative corporate identity also includes our own holistic, acoustic brand identity. From the gong that accompanies station announcements, to information and ring tones, to the specially created brand music – the BVG’s branded sounds all come from a single source. Together with the voice of the BVG, Berlin-based voice actress Philippa Jarke, the BVG’s iconic sound has been part of the German capital's big concert since May 2022. And the “choir” that produces all these sounds is none other than Berlin herself.
