School student monthly ticket

Requirements:

• If you’re a student at a general public school in Berlin or Brandenburg: a photograph and a valid student ID or certificate (no older than 30 days) from school
• If you’re 6 six years old but don’t yet go to school: a photograph and the school’s acceptance letter or deferment notification

Travel validity:

Fare zones Berlin BC or Berlin ABC, optionally with 1 or 2 additional surrounding districts or independent towns

Validity period:

From midnight before the first day to midnight at the end of the last day printed on the ticket

Who and what you can take with you:

• Children under 6
• Hand luggage, buggies, wheelchairs, and other orthopaedic aids, e.g. walking aids
• 1 dog
• 1 bicycle (only for fare zones Berlin BC or Berlin ABC)
