With around 16,000 employees from over 80 nations, diversity is a central part of everyday life here at the BVG. No matter where you come from, what you look like, who you love or what you believe in – you are welcome at the BVG!

Diversity is not just a project for us, but a fundamental attitude that we affirmed back in 2009 by signing the Diversity Charter. People of different cultures and religions, different sexual orientations and all genders, with and without disabilities and with diverse life stories are all united under one big yellow roof. We have been committed to diversity, equal opportunities and inclusion within the company for years. We were awarded the Max Spohr Prize for this in 2016. Mutual appreciation of our diversity is what makes us so successful and will make us even more successful in the future! We still have a lot to do together!
How do we do this?
Through our company’s diversity management, we promote the diversity of our workforce and develop it for the benefit of all. The various activities and measures in the diversity dimensions form a package of measures that further develops our internal culture of valuing diversity.

Networks within the BVG
The BVG favors an environment in which everyone feels comfortable and can develop their full potential. Our networks of dedicated employees that are committed to various topics, share experiences and strengthen cohesion are an important component of this.
