Henrik Falk

Henrik Falk has been CEO of the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) since January 1, 2024.
Falk is also a member of the German government's National Platform Future of Mobility, the executive committee of the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV), and, since June 2024, a member of the supervisory board of HUK-Coburg. Previously, Henrik Falk was CEO of Hamburger Hochbahn AG (HOCHBAHN) from early 2016 to late 2023.
From 1999, he worked as a lawyer specializing in commercial law in Berlin and became a partner in a law firm in 2001. On April 1, 2004, Henrik Falk moved to the BVG as General Counsel and Head of the Committee Division. From 2007, he was Managing Director of BVG-Beteiligungsholding. From November 1, 2008, to December 31, 2015, he headed the Finance and Sales division of the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG). He studied law at the Free University of Berlin. He received his business administration training in St. Gallen, Switzerland. After working as a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Social Law in Munich, he completed his legal clerkship in Paris and Berlin.
Henrik Falk was born on April 25, 1970, in Berlin. He is married and has three children.
