Henrik Falk

Henrik Falk has been the CEO of BVG since January 2024.

Henrik Falk has been a member of the Management Board of Hamburger Hochbahn AG since January 1, 2016 and Chairman of the Management Board since February 1, 2016. Henrik Falk is also a member of the German government's National Platform Future of Mobility, the UITP (Union Internationale des Transports Publics) Policy Board, the Executive Committee of the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV) and the Board of Innovators at SQUARE/Hamburg School of Business Administration (HSBA). Previously, Henrik Falk was Head of Finance and Sales at Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) from November 1, 2008 to December 31, 2015. From 1999, he worked as a lawyer specialising in commercial law in Berlin and became a partner in a law firm in 2001. On April 1, 2004, Henrik Falk moved to BVG as General Counsel and Head of the Board Division. From 2007, he was Managing Director of BVG-Beteiligungsholding.

He studied law at the Freie Universität Berlin. His business management training took place in St. Gallen/Switzerland. After working as a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Social Law in Munich, he completed his legal clerkship in Paris and Berlin. Henrik Falk was born in Berlin on April 25, 1970, is married and has three children.
