Welcome aboard the BVG’s social media channels! We’re delighted to have you with us. To ensure everything runs as smoothly on here as our wheels do on Berlin’s streets, please observe the following rules:

Respect and Friendliness

We believe in freedom of speech, but please always be respectful and polite. Treat other users as you would like to be treated yourself. Hate speech, discrimination, insults or racist comments are not allowed here. Anyone who misbehaves will be banned.

Stay On Topic

Keep your comments related to the BVG, Berlin, or public transport. We want to entertain and inform you. Unfortunately, there is no room for private sales ads, spam, or political campaigning.

Image and Copyright

Sharing a photo or video with us? Great! Please make sure you have the necessary rights beforehand. Using someone else’s images without permission is as uncool as travelling without a ticket – and is likely to cause just as much trouble.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your data is important to us – especially your personal information! Please do not post sensitive details publicly. If you have a personal matter that you would like to discuss, please contact our customer service directly via DM or our chatbot. We’re happy to assist and will, of course, protect your data.

Responsibility and Consequences

Be fair and stick to our rules. We reserve the right to delete posts that violate our netiquette. In severe cases, users will be blocked – which neither you nor we want.
