Culture
Classic Open Air at Gendarmenmarkt – 17 - 21 July 2025:
Since 1992, the Classic Open Air at Gendarmenmarkt has been delighting audiences with unforgettable concert evenings in a unique atmosphere. Against the magnificent backdrop of the Konzerthaus, French and German Cathedrals, visitors can experience popular classical works as well as modern arrangements on five evenings in July - accompanied by atmospheric light and fire effects.
The festival is aimed at a broad audience and deliberately combines different musical genres under the term ‘Classic’ from big star concerts and creative concept evenings to crossover projects in which classical music meets pop, rock or jazz. A musical highlight in Berlin's cultural summer - right in the heart of the city.

Open Days at the University of the Arts – 18 - 20 July 2025:
Once a year, Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) opens its doors to everyone in summer - with a grand tour of studios, workshops, studios and stages. Visitors get an exclusive insight into the work of students from the fields of visual arts, design, music, performing arts and the Berlin Career College.
The UdK main building at Hardenbergstraße 33 in Charlottenburg is the central point of contact. Other open locations include Straße des 17. Juni 118 (3D Haus), Einsteinufer 43, Grunewaldstraße 2-5 (Medienhaus), Hardenbergstraße/corner of Fasanenstraße (UdK concert hall), Fasanenstraße 1b (UNI.T), Mierendorffstraße 28-30, Lietzenburger Str. 45, Bundesallee 1-12 and Uferstraße 23 (Uferstudios).

Fun on the bay – 19 July 2025:
Culture, music and a summer feeling in the centre of Berlin: at the Seefest in Rummelsburger Bucht, visitors can experience concerts, workshops, readings and talks right on the water.
The open-air programme starts at 1 pm - on rafts and boats in the lake. Whether art, culture or visions for the free harbour: various formats invite you to think and participate. Live music, a children's programme and culinary offerings complete the day on the water.

Hufeisensiedlung World Heritage Festival – 23 - 26 July 2025:
To mark the 100th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone, the Hufeisensiedlung in Berlin-Britz is celebrating a major festival - embedded in the 650th anniversary of Britz. From 23 to 26 July 2025, the World Heritage Festival will bring concerts, readings, exhibitions and film screenings to the listed settlement. A creative workshop by the Fritz Karsen School is also part of the programme. The highlight follows on 26 July: at the festive ‘Hufeisen Fest’, visitors can experience walking concerts at original locations on the estate, accompanied by music from the Berlin Stegreif Orchestra. The day ends with a picnic on the Hufeisenwiese.

If you want to immerse yourself even further in magical worlds after the Hufeisen Fest, you can visit the Britzer Gartennacht on the same evening. The extensive park is transformed into four fairytale lands - from Dwarf Land to the Realm of the Giants. Illuminations, light shows, fabulous creatures and interactive stations make the walk through the Britzer Garten a special experience for young and old. Take the M46 bus from ‘U Parchimer Allee’ to ‘Fulhamer Allee’. From there, take the M44 bus to the ‘Dachdeckerweg’ stop.

Berlin E-Prix: Formula E race in Berlin – 12 and 13 July 2025:
The all-electric ABB FIA Formula E World Championship racing series will be making another stop in Berlin in 2025 - with the Hankook Berlin E-Prix. Berlin has been a permanent fixture on the international racing calendar since the first race at the former Tempelhof Airport in 2015. After a brief detour to the city centre in 2016 - with a route via Karl-Marx-Allee and Straußberger Platz - the event returned permanently to Tempelhofer Feld in 2017. The expansive setting offers the perfect mix of motorsport action and urban flair. Tickets for the Berlin E-Prix 2025 can be booked online - a must for fans of sustainable racing innovation.

Adidas Runners City Night Berlin – 26 July 2025:
In the evening, when Kurfürstendamm becomes a stage, the street does not belong to the traffic, but entirely to the runners and skaters: The Adidas Runners City Night brings a street festival feeling, sport and atmosphere to the west of Berlin on 26 July 2025. The starting signal will be given shortly before sunset. The programme includes a 5-kilometre fun run (with or without timekeeping) and a 10-kilometre run with official timekeeping - both for runners. The skaters will also start over the 10-kilometre distance.
The route runs from Breitscheidplatz along Kurfürstendamm - the Fun Run is a turning route, while the 10-kilometre race is a cross-shaped circuit through City West with several highlights, including the atmospheric adidas Cheering Zone at Adenauerplatz.

Final of the European Women's Football Championship in the Willy Kressmann Stadium – 27 July 2025:
On 27 July, the final of the European Women's Football Championship will be broadcast live on a big screen at the Willy Kressmann Stadium in Kreuzberg - with a real stadium atmosphere. Cheer, cheer and celebrate together: on this day, the stadium will be transformed into a lively meeting place for football fans and friends of the community experience. A day full of emotion, energy and real team spirit - in the centre of Berlin.

Family and leisure
Rave the Planet – 12 July 2025:
Rave the Planet - the new Love Parade in Berlin returns to the Straße des 17. Juni with Dr Motte. Under the motto ‘Our Future Is Now’, the parade unites thousands of people for a peaceful protest and electronic music festival. Together, they set an example for love, peace, diversity, sustainability and the protection of club culture. Among other things, the organisers are calling for the recognition of electronic music as a cultural asset, the preservation of clubs and the abolition of dance bans - loud, colourful and right in the heart of Berlin.

Lollapalooza Festival – 12 and 13 July 2025:
For the tenth time, the Olympic Park around Berlin's Olympic Stadium will be transformed into a colourful festival world: Lollapalooza Berlin 2025 will once again bring international stars and creative formats to the capital. Thousands of music fans will celebrate a weekend-long diverse programme of live music, art, street food and culture. With headliners such as Justin Timberlake and other acts such as Gracie Abrams, RAYE, FLO, Sofi Tukker, Benson Boone and IVE, there is something for everyone in terms of music.
Away from the stages, Fashionpalooza invites you to explore: Trendy fashion labels and lifestyle brands present themselves in an interactive area where fashion, creativity and street style come together.
For families, there is Kidzapalooza, a small festival within the festival for children aged between 0 and 14 - with child-friendly concerts, hands-on activities, workshops, a ball pool and a crawling area. A festival for all generations - in the centre of Berlin.

Family sports festival in Berlin's neighbourhoods – 20 July 2025:
The Landessportbund Berlin is once again inviting families, children and young people to the Family Sports Festival in Berlin's neighbourhoods in 2025. Visitors of all ages can try out sports such as baseball, beach volleyball, American football, hockey and football at numerous sports facilities throughout Berlin. There's also action with go-karts, skateboards, kendo, archery, Segways and much more. A special highlight: sports enthusiasts can take the German Sports Badge at the Schöneberg Sports Centre.

Christopher Street Day 2025 – 26 July 2025:
Every year, around one million people demonstrate for LGBTQIA+ rights at Christopher Street Day in Berlin - against discrimination, for visibility and diversity. The demonstration begins on Leipziger Straße and ends at the Brandenburg Gate. With the motto ‘Never be silent again!’, the CSD calls on people to remain loud, visible and in solidarity.
